Former GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney will headline a fundraising event April 27th for Republican Tom Schweich.
Schweich, a former political appointee of President Bush, is a newcomer to elected politics but has managed to pick up major national endorsements for his candidacy.
"I am honored and excited that a person of the experience, credibility, and credentials of Gov. Romney will be supporting my effort to ensure accountability and integrity in Jefferson City. I look forward to filling you in on the details as the event approaches," Schweich said in a statement.
